Excellent. I had made a suggestion to Good Characters for a new product that I hoped that they might carry. They took me up on my suggestion even though it meant some new equipment on their part. When I received the seal I asked for I was very pleased. Andy Chuang, the owner, is very accomodating and listens to his customers. OK. Overall, acceptable level.
The good: Good customer service - responsive, individualized - fast delivery.
The bad: The website is misleading... makes you think that the wax seals are a standard item.
Only at ordering, did I realize that it was a custom-made item that required extra time to make -
Also, required too much back and forth communication to define what the wax seal would look like.
The website made it seem like I was ordering the same design as the rubber stamp.
I did not expect an email asking me what I wanted. - Slow. Order was supposed to
ship within 3-5 days. I ended up waiting a week.

We are now offering custom Chinese (also known as Japanese Kanji or Korean Hanja) wax seals. Each seal can have one to four characters. Very popular for invitations and certificates!
The images on the left are some representations of what the seals will look like. The seal will come reverse engraved (so the seal will come out properly on the wax) and is just under an inch in diameter.
Each seal has a solid cherry handle with a large interchangeable brass coin and is gift boxed with a stick of red or blue wax and instructions for use.
